Imagination Fuels Creativity

Imagination is not a talent of some men
but is the health of every man.

RALPH WALDO EMERSON

Hear it ...

in your mind's ear.

Sounds have meanings.

Let them take you places.

See it ...

in your mind's eye.

Envision ideas.

Open a new world.

Make it ...

with your hands.

Dabble.

Create.

In Tchaikovsky's  short opera: Iolanta,  the blind Princess Iolanta does not know others have sight. Her father, King Rene, forbids everyone from making Iolanta feel she is different. One morning, Iolanta awakens with tears on her cheek and the maid, Marta, asks her why she is crying. Iolanta asks Marta how she could know when Marta hadn't touched her cheek. In this aria, Iolanta is asking why the world seems different to her with this mystery.  Achevo. Skazhi, Marta? (Why. Tell me, Martha.)
